The Role

The school is seeking a qualified Science Teacher with experience across all three sciences at Key Stage 3 and specializing in at least one at Key Stage 4 and A-Level. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering a curriculum that encourages curiosity and a love for scientific discovery. You'll be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3.
• Teaching your specialist science subject(s) to GCSE and A-Level students.
• Planning and executing practical experiments that bring scientific concepts to life.
• Mentoring students and supporting their academic and personal development.
• Collaborating with other staff to enhance the department's resources and curriculum.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree in a science-related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
• Proven experience teaching science, with specific expertise at Key Stage 4 and A-Level in your chosen specialism.
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for science.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a diverse range of learners.

Salary & Application

The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale, depending on your experience.
